India’s first cruise service from Mumbai to Goa has been launched, and according to their official website, bookings are now open for the 25th and 30th of this month. The cruise ship has been named Angriya, which is been named after the first Maratha Navy Admiral Kanhoji Angre and the great Angria bank coral reef near Vijaydurg, Maharashtra. This premium cruise service is a joint venture between Mumbai Port Trust and Angriya Kanhoji Angre Sea Eagle Pvt. Ltd.

The cruise ship will depart from the newly constructed domestic terminal at noon and reach Goa the next morning.

Mumbai to Goa Cruise Route

The Angriya is required to finish the voyage from Mumbai to Goa in 16 hours. It is expected to run on alternate days starting from the month of November. For now, it will be a non-stop journey but the future plans include multiple stops along the Konkan Coastline.
